We had a great experience with John's moving company as we moved into our new home. We chose John's by way of a friend's referral (we used another company in 2019 to move into an apartment while kicking off a home build, but that company left minor furniture damage and nicks on the walls - leading us to a choose a different company when moving once the home build was complete this year - 2020, so we chose John's per the referral). John's did not disappoint! The crew was right on time, moved faster than estimated, took care of our furniture and our walls, and the crew was very pleasant and professional. Kudos to John's and to Ryan, Stan, and Jameson for a job well done - Thank you!

I used John’s for move from Wake Forest to Cary and I cannot speak highly enough about the crew, company, and overall experience. Stan and Shawn wrapped up all of my furniture and you could clearly tell these guys not only had a boatload of experience but also took an immense amount of pride in their work. Not a scratch and they even finished under estimate, saving me $200! I highly recommend giving them a call for your moving needs!

John's Moving & Storage were lifesavers in helping me arrange a family member's move in record time. Having a crew of 3 resulted in a speedy emptying of the apartment contents and quick loading of the truck. The crew of Matt, Omar, and Miguel were exceptional and their customer service was top notch from the placement of my first call to subsequent follow-up conversations finalizing all the details. I was very, very pleased and can proudly recommend them to anyone making a move.

I reached out to multiple moving companies regarding a quote for a local move from the Cary to Raleigh area. John’s Moving and Storage was the only company that not only had a real person answer the phone, but was able to walk me through the process and relieve all stress for my upcoming move. I had the pleasure of speaking with Jessica who gathered all my information and asked all the right questions to genuinely understand my needs for my move. It was clear from the beginning that what was important to me was the utmost importance to them. Jessica was incredibly positive and helpful. After our phone call, Jessica quickly emailed me a quote breaking down all expenses which clearly reflected what we had discussed for my specific move. John’s Moving and Storage has clearly set the standard for customer service, but also have the best rates by a long shot. After reaching out to several companies, I know that John’s Moving and Storage will do what it takes for my move to happen smoothly and efficiently. I’ll never have to call around again for my next move as I now know John’s Moving and Storage will take care of everything!

I worked for a moving company through college so I can say for sure that this team was very professional and did an outstanding job. From the virtual estimate with Mary to working out the schedule with Jill and, working with the movers the whole experience was stress free. Special thanks to the crew Kirby, Jose, Matt and Miguel. This is the 3rd time using John's Moving and Storage between all our moves between Raleigh, Wilmington and Asheville. They traveled / started at all those locations, always on time and the team that showed up were always very professional, fun, and wrapped and packed our stuff really well and with lots of care. Of course certain things will break...but even then, they were easy to work with. I would highly recommend. In terms of pricing..very competitive if not lower cost compared to others and quality of work and delivery well worth it.

Great job! I move a lot for my career - I always hire help because I have nails that don't deserve what moving does to them. I don't know if I'm just so used to the process or if this company is really just that good - but I think it's safe to wager it's the moving company. They were super nice, felt more like family than paid help. Fair price - on time - didn't damage my stuff (rare).

From the first phone call to the last box being set down, John's Moving & Storage made our move feel effortless. The crew showed up on time, treated our stuff like it was their own, and never once made us feel rushed, even when we had more boxes than expected. We moved locally within Raleigh, and I was dreading it, but they were calm, professional, and even kind when I was visibly stressed. They wrapped our furniture with care, navigated tight corners like pros, and not a single item was damaged or missing. I was especially impressed with how they handled our piano -- I've moved a few times and no one has done it this smoothly. No hidden fees, no drama, just a really solid team that knows what they're doing. Worth every penny! If you're looking for movers you can actually trust, don't waste your time shopping around. Appreciate y'all. After much research, we went with John's, and we are grateful we did. They were on time, courteous, and prepared. We'd lived in our home for 32 years and had 32 years' worth of belongings to move. It was a big job - could tell they've done this many times. Thanks.
